Play Naturally's 2020 is proudly sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Mission to ASEAN. YSEALI Seeds for the Future grant supports promising young leaders carrying out projects in Civic Engagement and Education to improve their countries and communities.
Conservation Filmmaking
Our conservation filmmaking programme was developed with support from local and regional conservationists, filmmakers and production companies. Click on the images below to find out more about our syllabus and programme timeline. This programme will span from 29th August 2020 to 12th December 2020.
Learn conservation principles.

Learn about Tasek Merimbun's culture, history and environment and understand the challenges faced by the community that call this ASEAN Heritage Site their home in the 21st century.
Train with local filmmakers.
Train with Brunei's top performing artists, filmmakers and mentors and practice translating culture, history and environment into art and film.
Create your original film.
Work with other participants to create a short film centred around Tasek Merimbun and inspired by your experiences in the programme.
Showcase your work.
Your film will be showcased regionally (in Southeast Asia) and in Brunei thorough both online and offline platforms, and will be broadcasted among the 130000+ strong YSEALI network.
